1. It was conclusive after exhaustive tests that MARBLO had superior qualities in both chemical and stain resistant properties to existing products.

2. MARBLO being a product that is non-porous and seamless there was no absorption into the benchtop or seams, therefore eliminating a primary breeding place for bacteria (pathogens).

3. In the past, the colours available for laboratories have been drab and dark. The evolution of MARBLO has allowed the use of light colours. The colour selected was Granada Series- UWA White. With messy work, cleaning up is reduced because of the visibility compared to that of a dark background. It was also noted that it is much easier to view slides on a light background as well.

4. MARBLO is a material that enhances the aesthetics of any laboratory when it is used. Also the cleaning and maintenance of the product is easy and it reduced the maintenance of the environment by laboratory assistants.
